Trefor

Trefor is a high water sea fishing mark on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula.

Once famed for it’s small pier that was used by Anglers for year moreover it used to be a mark that helped anglers target Huss (and mackerel), with the pier giving access to deeper waters. The pier fell into a dangerous state of repair hence it was unfortunately removed in 2018.
If there were Huss around back then, they must still be around. Just requires a bit further casting.

The small breakwater is fully accessible, it is fishing onto a clean sandy bottom. Parking is only a short walk away with plenty of spaces and is visible from the venue. This makes it accessible for most anglers with all usual species available.
Fishing is from a safe and stable platform with a railing on the sea facing side of the breakwater.

There are opportunities to have a bit of a species hunt down the back of the breakwater among the rocks. To the left looking out to sea there is a little headland that you can also target minis, its quite shallow here and snaggy.
