Colwyn Bay 24.10.18
We had a quick stop off at Colwyn Bay. With the rain holding off and the wind brisk but doable I took the youngest and his never fished before friend in search of the elusive winter whiting…. 1hr 20 up and 40mins down, 2 hook flapper with frozen lug being the order of the day.
The fishing was pretty consistent with plenty of pin whiting showing, missed quite a few as the whiting were working their way through the lug quite quick. There was a few others fishing the prom but I only made out the odd whiting coming out.
His previously unfished friend won on both numbers and size but they both caught and that’s what matters. Think he is hooked (pun intended)
Happy days
